The Singapore Business Advisors and Consultants Council (SBACC) is an independent national not-for-profit organisation that is supported and recognised by government agencies such as Spring Singapore, International Enterprise, Workforce Development Agency and others. The Council governs the activities and certification of our practising management consultants.
The Council’s mission is to promote and advance the professionalism of business consulting and business advice by setting and maintaining internationally recognised standards of performance and conduct for our certified management consultants. The Council will also promote the continual upgrading of knowledge and skills of our management consultants.
In line with our national agenda to build capacity and productivity of enterprises, SBACC will grow a talent pool of professional management consultants. Management consultants play an important, enabling role in the development of enterprises in Singapore. They can help enterprises to be productive and competitive by introducing new technologies, improving systems and processes, restructuring enterprises and extending the range of abilities and knowledge to enterprises. Similarly, management consultants can plug critical gaps in management knowhow and provide useful business contacts, especially for the small and medium enterprises. By providing advice and assistance, management consultants aid enterprises in determining and achieving their objectives.
The Council also aims to support our certified practising consultants through value-added activities and in time will assist them to tap on business opportunities in the regional market.
In line with international best practice, the Council adopts the international standard ISO/IEC 17024:2012 for the certification of personnel.
